Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the face of our practice. As the first point of contact for patients, this role is essential in creating a positive and seamless experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages as needed
- Verify insurance benefits and process patient billing or copayments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure the front desk and waiting area are clean, organized, and professional
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare office preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
