Join our Toyota Material Handling North America Team as a Field Service Technical Specialist - Energy/LFP Support

The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Field Service Technical Specialist - Energy/LFP Support who brings (enthusiasm, strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills to the table. The Field Service Technical Specialist position supports Raymond and Toyota Field Service organizations, Warranty and Product Health teams internally, as well as field technicians offering resolution to energy related issues. The position requires day-to-day interaction with internal and external service teams engineering, product development, and factory staff. This role requires providing technical support in a call center environment for current energy products during core hours (LIB, LFP, Fuel Cell, Lead Acid Batteries / Chargers). This role is mostly autonomous and receives limited supervision. When necessary, guidance from senior level management may be required. Cross functional coordination efforts are frequently required for both Raymond and Toyota organizations in support of various issues. These coordination responsibilities may extend to Solution and Support Centers, Toyota dealers as well as customer teams. This position requires spending significant amounts of time working in front of computer terminal.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Offer technical support in a call center setting for Energy Solutions products (LIB, LFP, Fuel Cell, Lead Acid Batteries/Chargers) during core hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST).
  • Conduct training sessions on new Energy products for Raymond Solutions and Support Centers and Toyota dealers.
  • Serve as a second-level escalation specialist for energy product issues.
  • Represent Raymond or Toyota in high-visibility, sensitive customer interactions.
  • Complete required training, including Technician Primer Course, Train the Trainer, and Energy Solutions products and core truck classes.
  • Lead problem-solving teams within the department, participating actively in projects and energy product development.
  • Review and develop technical documentation for Raymond and Toyota energy products.
  • Manage call desk responsibilities daily, ensuring courteous customer service and effective completion of Service Now cases, interactions, tasks, and knowledge articles.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An Associate’s Degree OR a certificate in a job related program is preferred.
  • 4 or more years of related experience.
  • Must pass the Technical Primer Class and Operator Certification.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary - $60,406 - $76,513 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
