Full Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Technician (Injection Molding). If you have a maintenance background with Plastics Technology and automated systems, then this position is for you! You'll work with a world leading manufacturer of machinery and systems for the production and processing of plastics and rubber.
Location: Kenosha, WI - Milwaukee or Chicago are ideal locations for this region.
In this position you will:
Working hours: Monday through Friday, with paid overtime as necessary to complete required tasks
Travel: This position will focus on clients in the your region and occasionally elsewhere in the US. Most times you will leave Monday morning and return Friday afternoon. You will be issued a company truck or rental for the travel to and from customers' sites or take a flight. Paid travel time.
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
Pay: $36.00 - $43.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

In this position you will:
- Complete troubleshooting, repairs, installations, retrofits and upgrade performance to customer equipment
- Provide training and service programs in the operation and maintenance of product to a client
- Manage special projects and follow-up with procedures at client sites
- Efficiently and effectively troubleshoot and rectify all problem areas on production equipment and related systems
- Travel to client locations - travel away from home 1 week at a time

- Preferred Education: Associates Degree in Technical field
- 3+ years of related experienced in the electrical field, preferably as a Field Service Engineer or Technician
- Experience with injection molding processes and equipment (plastics and foam)
- Thorough understanding of injection mold machinery processes, operations and installations.
- Strong Mechanical / Electrical aptitude
- Solid technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
