The Executive Steward is a key member of the culinary team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's stewarding department. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all food production and service areas. You will manage, train, and schedule stewarding staff to uphold our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the stewarding department, ensuring efficient and effective service.
- Sanitation & Maintenance: Ensure all food production and service areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise stewarding staff. Develop schedules and manage team performance.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies.

· Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality or food & beverage setting is preferred.

· Sanitation Knowledge: Understanding of sanitation standards and safety regulations.
