Trinity Center Seeks Their Next Executive Director (E.D.)
Trinity Center seeks an experienced, resourceful, and community-building leader to guide the 12-yearold
organization into its next stage of growth and development. Our next experienced Executive
Director will balance the need to stay connected to the internal operations, while being the face of the
organization in the community. The next leader will most successfully support Trinity Center's growth
and development by focusing on the future and thinking big, while ensuring the organization's
infrastructure can sustain the needed programs for years to come. The ideal candidate will be able to
inspire and engage people throughout the organization and community: members, volunteers, staff,
community partners, public agencies, individual donors, institutional funders, and board.
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of Trinity Center, which includes:
setting and leading the strategic direction with Board and staff; oversight and growth of the budget;
management of HR functions; fundraising; public relations and networking; oversight of program,
operations, and fundraising staff; and board development. The ED provides leadership that upholds the
values and mission of Trinity Center, while ensuring the sustainability of the organization.
The Executive Director reports to the Trinity Center Board. The E.D. directly supervises three dedicated
and experienced managers: the Assoc Director/Development Manager, the Director of Programs, and
the Operations Manager.
About Trinity Center
Trinity Center opens doorways to opportunity, offering vital safety net services, case management, and
housing support for adults experiencing homelessness in Contra Costa County. We empower individuals
in their journey toward housing, financial stability, and overall wellness. We work in partnership with
our community, members, and supporters to address the devastating effects of poverty and remove
barriers to stable housing through compassionate services, education, shelter, and advocacy.
With a staff of 15, Trinity Center programs are designed to combat the root causes of poverty and
homelessness. Last year we welcomed over 1,400 individuals more than 17,000 times, providing 47,000
services ranging from essential safety net services to intensive case management and trainings. The
center operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, providing intensive case management, in
addition to meals, showers, laundry, and other essential safety-net services. During the winter, we bring
on additional seasonal staff so that we can also offer overnight shelter. In addition, we are working in
partnership with two projects that will provide additional supportive housing for people in need. With
critical support from dedicated volunteers, as well as partnerships with the city, county, community
organizations and individual donors, Trinity Center provides all of these programs with an annual budget
of approximately $1.5 million. We believe that a flourishing community is one where the most
vulnerable members have hope and opportunities for productive and satisfying lives.
