Our client in the manufacturing space is looking for an Event Specialist to help lead the planning and execution of high-impact industry events and tradeshows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about innovation in event experiences, and has a strong background in running logistics for a large-scale convention center-level event.
This is a hybrid role, so you'll be in the Charlotte, NC office three days a week. You must be able to travel within the US and Canada.
Event Specialist Responsibilities
- Manage logistics (travel + lodging), budgets, vendor coordination, and on-site execution throughout event lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal teams including digital media, email marketing, and social/content to maximize event engagement
- Translate technical product benefits into engaging, hands-on experiences
- Support the design and strategy of a new tradeshow booth launching in 2027, incorporating VR, LED walls, and other emerging technologies
- Analyze event performance and apply insights to improve future strategy
- Use Monday.com to manage timelines, tasks, and cross-functional collaboration
Event Specialist Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in event/tradeshow management or experiential marketing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in fast-paced environments
- Creative problem-solving and a customer-first mindset
- Proficiency with tools like Monday.com is a plus
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
