Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay

The Event Sales Lead Catcher will assist event sales managers with administrative duties including but not limited to Word processing, account management, presentation preparation and customer follow up. This position will coordinate account client needs and client events. The Event Sales Lead Catcher will maintain files, systems and communication to other departments as directed by event sales managers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills on assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering the Sales and Events Main line and assisting all callers
  • Responding to all requests for information and follow up requests for Sales and Events
  • Deploying all sales and events leads to appropriate Sales and Events Manager
  • Maintaining and continually updating the Hyatt sales system database (Envision)
  • Other various tasks and projects that assist with the Event Sales process and/or Hotel’s business levels

    • Qualifications

    • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
    • Refined verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
    • Prefer a four year hospitality degree or equivalent experience
    • Prefer 18 months hotel experience
    • Geographically mobile
