Environmental Technician

Where will you work: Onsite at our New Wales Facility (3095 County Road 640 West Mulberry, FL 33860)

Are you passionate about environmental safety and compliance? We’re looking for an Environmental Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll provide essential support to ensure our facility meets all regulatory and corporate EHS requirements. Your primary responsibility will be collecting environmental samples to determine compliance. You’ll also play a crucial role in identifying and reporting any issues that could impact the environment or the safety of your colleagues. If you’re vigilant, detail-oriented, and committed to making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

What will you do?

• Conduct facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with strict regulatory procedures

• Provide technical training to assist with ongoing compliance

• Perform inspections of plant areas to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Troubleshoot and manage environmental field sampling data using an electronic database

What do you need for this role?

• High School/GED required.

• Driver's License required

• 1+ years of Environmental Health and Safety experience required.

• Entry level Plant Operations knowledge

• 1+ years Microsoft Office Suite experience

• Drinking Water Testing Certificate or the ability and desire to obtain one

• Waste Water Testing Certificate or the ability and desire to obtain one

• 1+ years Environmental and Permitting Regulatory Matters experience preferred
