Shutterfly is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist II to join our team!
What You'll Do Here:
- Align and integrate the EHS strategy with the supporting organization's mission, goals, and strategies.
- Audit/inspect site for compliance to regulatory and internal policies and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
- Conduct impact analyses and implement programs to ensure compliance with both regulatory and internal standards.
- Act as the business SME for the EHS IS system as well manage the EHS metrics collection/analysis process.
- Work with site personnel to obtain business objectives including auditing, reporting and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Develop and conduct training course material to meet the needs of the learner or business.
Conduct incident investigations and identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
The Skills You'll Bring:
- Working experience in implementing EHS regulations, conducting incident investigations, interacting with regulatory agencies and external organizations and managing cross functional teams.
- Flexibility in work schedule based upon business demands.
- Ability to establish measurable project goals and implementation plans, balance conflicting work demands, and develop action plans including the identification of resource requirements.
- Ability to develop standards and/or policies that meet business objectives.
- Ability to actively listen, build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Become a subject matter expert for the site's waste streams.
