Position Summary:
The Entry-Level Project Manager/Estimator will assist in planning, budgeting, and managing heavy construction projects from start to finish. This dual-role position is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in both project management and cost estimating within the heavy construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Estimating Duties:
· Assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for heavy construction projects.
· Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
· Perform quantity takeoffs and develop scope of work.
· Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
· Support bid preparation and submission processes.
Project Management Duties:
· Assist in the coordination and execution of construction projects under the supervision of senior staff.
· Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
· Help manage jobsite logistics, subcontractor coordination, and materials delivery.
· Participate in project meetings, document control, and progress reporting.
· Support compliance with safety policies and procedures on job sites.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).
· Internship or prior construction experience a plus but not required.
· Strong math and analytical skills.
· Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project phases.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with estimating or project management software a plus.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow with the company.
