Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician holding a valid EE98J license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew on commercial, and industrial electrical and solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and state codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure compliance and safety standards
- Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Install wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, lighting, and control systems
- Ensure all work meets EE98J licensing and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades
Required Qualifications
- Valid EE98J Electrician License (current and in good standing)
- Proven experience as a licensed electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices
- Ability to use electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand tools safely
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
- OSHA certification
- Experience supervising apprentices or junior electricians
