Job Description: Company is a 50+ year old family run US Manufacturer of Standard and Custom Passive Electronics component solutions. This role is a mix between hunting and farming and selling direct to OEM's and through Tier 1 distributors across the Eastern US.This individual will manage and expand an existing book of business, strengthen partnerships within the MIL/Aerospace accounts, and identify new opportunities within OEMs, contract manufacturers, and distribution partners. This new role has been created due to growth and expansion into an active market. This is a perm/direct hire role that is remote based and comes with solid earning potential with qualifying bonuses. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to grow market share in Defense, Aerospace, and related high-reliability markets. Manage and expand an established territory of OEM and distribution customers across the East Coast. Build and foster strong relationships with engineering, procurement, and program management teams. Drive design wins by working closely with customers' engineering teams and internal applications engineers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory. Manage performance of distributors and representative firms within the Eastern US territory. Analyze theperformance of territory, forecast sales, and report on key metrics. Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product management and operations) to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with the goals of the company. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of technical sales experience in electronic components, ideally passive components or related interconnect products. Proven track record of territory growth and account management success. Strong understanding of defense and aerospace markets, programs, and procurement cycles. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel regularly throughout the Eastern US (up to 50%). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - personable, confident, and customer-focused. Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
