WIN Waste is currently seeking a Dispatch Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Supervision of ops analysts, dispatch supervisors and other supervisory tasks as assigned.
- Maintain updated weekly/monthly operating statistics which are distributed to the Operations, Finance and Sales departments. This includes productivity and disposal trends, revenue trends, route productivity analysis, disposal cost analysis, etc.
- Identify cost savings opportunities through the analytical review of operating and financial statistics.
- Route profitability analysis.
- Generate month-end financial information to assist Accounting in creating reports.
- Create and review Haul It G/L download spreadsheet to be used for line-of-business accounting.
- Create intercompany tractor trailer tons and loads hauled report.
- Review reconciliation of the disposal log to Accounts Payable posted invoices at end of month to create accruals.
- Maintain updated monthly revenue budget comparison reports to be used for the monthly operating reviews (MORs)
- Provide/assist with variance analysis for revenue budget comparisons for creation of the MOR report.
- Review line-of-business P&L reports and modify them to add extra detail.
- Use existing trend reports and other TRUX reports to determine variances.
- Support financial audits.
- Generates invoice detail reports to back up G/L revenue audit.
- Ensure maximum productivity by achieving or exceeding Company-established goals by successfully routing vehicles.
- Courteously interact with customers, as required.
- Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
- Provide support for other financial projects.
- Work with Corporate Control ship team to reconcile disposal/hauling logs.
- Assist in the integration of newly acquired companies.
- Assist in preparation and distribution of divisional policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparation of bids.
Qualifications & Experience
- Waste industry experience a plus
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of two years in a similar role
- Advanced Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) Skills
- Finance or accounting experience a plus
- Experience in a customer-facing position
