Our client, one of the fastest-growing and most beloved restaurant brands in the country, is looking for a Director of Social Creative to join their team as soon as we identify the right candidate!
This is a 100% onsite role, requiring presence at their Plano, Texas (north suburb of Dallas) headquarters if not traveling to an event or celebrity / brand activation.
In this exciting new role, the Director of Social Creative will not only lead a team of content creators on the execution of the brand's social media content strategy but also produce themselves timely, engaging content across all social media channels. This role has a heavy emphasis on quick execution of short social video content and requires travel to exciting brand activations (some with celebrities!) across the country.
Channels include the main company brand, the Founder's brand and their beloved Mascot across 6 different platforms.
Director of Social Creative Responsibilities
- Direct ideation to execution of social photo, video and copy content for all brand channels and platforms
- Execute social creative alongside team
- For brand activations, lead creative ideation, content capture and editing to ensure brand remains at forefront of pop culture through social
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Social, Brand and Creative teams and external partners to align on focus and direction of social content throughout the year
- Conceptualize and develop big ideas to generate viral social moments
- Identify insights, trends, opportunities to elevate social content
- Partner with internal teams to integrate creative social ideas into broader campaigns for cohesion and consistent narrative
- Lead, build and nurture a world-class creative team, fostering environment of bold thinking and collaboration
- Develop team members through 1-on-1 meetings and regular check-ins
Director of Social Creative Requirements
- 4+years' RECENT experience, specifically focused on creative execution leadership of social media
- Experience at either a top-tier agency or in-house team
- Proven experience producing social content (especially short videos) that are relevant, timely and potentially viral
- Experience developing and executing social media for a big consumer brand, especially multiple channels and all platforms
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and any video creation/editing software
- Experience and confidence in collaborating with and advising directly C-suite executives
- Willingness to travel 25 - 50% of the year across the country
- Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED
Relocation to Dallas / Plano, Texas, is available for the right candidate!
