BNY is seeking Engineers who amplify team impact through technical leadership and forcemultiplier behaviors. • Simplify systems and workflows by removing friction, toil, and unnecessary handoffs.
• Create durable reusable patterns, guardrails, and tooling that accelerate team delivery.
• Quickly ramps-up in new domains, technologies, and problem spaces, adapting as needs evolve.
• Apply strong engineering fundamentals across software design, data, testing, and distributed systems.
• Use AI-enabled tools deliberately across design, coding, testing, review, and documentation, while keeping strong human accountability for highrisk decisions, verification, and final quality.
• Build software with a reliabilityfirst mindset, incorporating secure coding practices, observability, testing, and disciplined rollout/rollback strategies.
• Ensure production systems meet required levels of resiliency, performance, scalability, and operability.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus.
• 12+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated depth in fullstack engineering and system / application architecture.
• Prior experience in securities, financial services, or modern engineering-first organizations is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and the design of RESTful and streamingbased APIs.
• Handson experience delivering cloudnative solutions, including microservices, containerization, and modern deployment patterns.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL and distributed data stores, selected and applied appropriately at scale.
• Experience leveraging AIenabled capabilities, including GenAI or MLdriven services, to enhance developer productivity, system intelligence, or customer outcomes, with a pragmatic understanding of responsible use, scalability, and integration into enterprise platforms.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $142,000 and$250,000peryearat the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
