The Designer is responsible for executing high-quality graphic design work while integrating generative AI-powered creative tools into the design process. This role requires a combination of classical design craftsmanship and the ability to leverage advanced AI technology to deliver innovative, high-impact visual solutions. The position bridges conventional design principles with emerging AI capabilities to create compelling content across various platforms and campaigns.

Core Responsibilities
Execute high-quality graphic design work using established principles and industry best practices.
Utilize and optimize generative AI platforms to enhance and scale content production.
Create original designs from concept to completion using both traditional tools and AI assistance.
Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems that integrate both traditional and AI-generated assets.
Ensure brand consistency across all design outputs, whether traditionally crafted or AI-enhanced.
Build and refine expertise in prompt engineering to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content.
Analyze AI-generated outputs and apply traditional design techniques to enhance quality and visual appeal.
Establish and manage libraries of effective prompts, design assets, and creative templates.
Develop workflows that maximize the strengths of both traditional and AI-assisted design processes.
Analyze performance data to refine design approaches and improve engagement and effectiveness.
Innovate by researching and experimenting with new tools, methods, and approaches to optimize the use of AI in the creative process.
Train and guide team members on the effective use of AI tools within established design workflows.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality work across multiple platforms.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Firefly) and other industry-standard design tools.
Demonstrated experience in both traditional design workflows and AI-powered design platforms (Firefly, Ad Creative)
Solid understanding of fundamental design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
Ability to seamlessly integrate traditional design elements with AI-generated assets.
Experience creating responsive designs optimized for various platforms and formats.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance traditional and AI-assisted projects effectively.

Technical Competencies
Advanced proficiency in traditional design software and techniques.
Practical experience with generative AI platforms and creative automation tools.
Understanding of AI model behaviors and capabilities across multiple platforms.
Proficiency in prompt engineering to guide AI tools in generating contextually and visually accurate content.
Ability to integrate AI-generated assets into design workflows without compromising quality or brand consistency.
Familiarity with digital asset management systems and version control tools.
Awareness of AI limitations and the ability to apply creative solutions when required.
Knowledge of contemporary design trends and advancements in AI technology.
Experience in using performance metrics to evaluate and improve creative content.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48 to $54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
