As a member of this team, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Development team where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. Responsibilities include general oversight of offshore software development resources and projects. This includes reviewing resources and productivity across various projects. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the enhancement of our offshore development processes and participating in special projects that incorporate a wide range of cross-functional team exposure.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback.
  • Address and resolve any team conflicts or performance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the projects being managed.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the offshore development teams.
  • Ensure code quality, adherence to architectural standards, and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain clear and effective communication channels with offshore teams, onshore teams, and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for managing offshore development teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with .NET, SQL, Angular 8+ years in HR Data oversight, configuration and support; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • 2+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Experience implementing enterprise applications within Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps, branching strategies and pipelines.
  • Leading from the technical perspective.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.

The salary range for this position is $133,500-$150,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
