Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization in downtown Boston is seeking a Development Associate for a 3+ month hybrid contract (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). The position pays $23/hour, with full-time hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The organization focuses on the enhancement, preservation, and programming of a historic public space and is preparing for a major capital campaign. Job Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the DonorPerfect database, ensuring data quality and consistent entry
Conduct daily gift processing, tracking, and reconciliation with accounting and development teams
Coordinate donor research, gift acknowledgments, pledge tracking, and regular reporting
Support cultivation and stewardship efforts including mailings, events, and email appeals
Provide logistical and administrative support for fundraising events, including the annual Moondance Gala
Collaborate with senior leadership and campaign committees for ongoing development initiatives

Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in nonprofit development or database management
Advanced proficiency in DonorPerfect (required)
Strong understanding of fundraising principles and development operations
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Constant Contact, and other standard development tools
Available for a minimum of 3 in-office days per week
