DEPUTY DIRECTOR
OF FINANCE

CITY OF COLUMBIANA
The City of Columbiana is seeking an individual to work closely with the Director of Finance to assist in the finance operations of the municipality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, the Deputy Director of Finance assists the Director of Finance as needed, prepares deposits, reviews, codes and processes invoices and purchase orders for payment, works closely with the utility billing clerks and oversees collection of utility accounts, and completes related clerical duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* A bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance; a minimum of five (5) years public sector finance experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

* Proficient in the use of MS Office and Financial Management Software. (Software Solutions VIP Software is an ideal match)

* Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

* Must be bondable.
