Volt is immediately hiring a Deployment Planner in LOUISVILLE, Colorado 80027.

As a Deployment Planner - you will be responsible for.

Job Description:
The Deployment Planner is responsible for overall deployment of finished goods from plant production locations to distribution centers and warehouses. Accountabilities are to develop and monitor deployment strategies that optimize service, costs, and operational capacities.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure overall deployment strategy is optimized and system planning parameters are optimized.
  • Conduct regular consistent reviews of all parameters and update based on new criteria.
  • Review daily and weekly deployment suggestions (STOs) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage issues and communicate with plants, DCs, Customer Service, Finished Goods Planners and Supply Chain counterparts.
  • Work with Distribution Centers/Plant warehouses to assist with capacity constraints and optimization strategies as appropriate.
  • Responsible for accurate and consistent data accuracy throughout SNP to provide appropriate mid to long range plans.
  • Participate in weekly supply planning team meetings with counterparts in finished good planning, deployment, forecasting and procurement to deliver key KPIs - service, DOS, L&D, forecast accuracy, material SS, obsolescence minimization and sourcing optimization.
  • Daily data cleansing of system
  • Track and report key KPIs - load weights, deployment costs, deployment volume

Requirements:
  • 3-5years Supply Chain experience in CPG including supply planning.
  • B.A. in Supply Chain Mgmt./Logistics or related degree.
  • SAP/APO knowledge a plus
  • APICS certification desired
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes and safety stock optimization strategies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of deployment practices, distribution theory.
  • Solid communication skills, particularly in highlighting issues and take corrective action.
Location: Louisville, CO 80027
Duration: 7 months contract
Payrate: $30.00/hr. - $33.00/hr.
