Delivery Managers serve as the Chief Scrum Master across all delivery teams within a product. They are responsible for the overall solution delivery and support of large-scale programs with complex integrations. Delivery Managers are responsible for managing the communication across program stakeholders, defining mitigation strategies to remediate risks & issues, and assisting teams to ensure that the value being delivered aligns to the product vision defined by our business partners and CDS.
The Optical / CWT Delivery Manager is responsible for delivering multiple efforts and projects for the US and International Regions for our businesses. This role will use a variety of agile and traditional project practices within a hybrid product/program model, working with local, international and cross-functional teams while managing overall program scope, timeline, budgets, communications, and complex integrations. The Optical/CWT Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful end-to-end delivery of multiple medium to large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals. This role will lead, iSeries, and cloud-based initiatives/services, supporting applications across the U.S., Canada, and International regions.
The ideal candidate will excel at managing multiple initiatives concurrently, effectively balancing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder engagement and vendor management to ensure high-quality project outcomes. In addition to project leadership, the Delivery Manager will play a key outward-facing role, managing financial tracking, stakeholder relationships, and supporting Product Owners, while providing clear, timely communication and progress reporting to senior leadership and the broader organization. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring disciplined project execution and delivery of measurable business value.

ROLE
● Leads end-to-end project management for complex initiatives from project initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, closure and helps with the allocation of resources and provides teams with the necessary support to remediate impediments and reported issues.
● Works with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to plan release schedules across products.
● Supports product teams with the delivery of new features and capabilities while empowering them and allowing them to be self-organized.
● Supports the Product Owners and CDS teams with the facilitation of system and project demos to demonstrate the integration of products to program stakeholders.
● Creates weekly reports highlighting the health of the overall delivery status to program leadership and various stakeholders.
● Fosters collaboration between the delivery teams and stakeholders at the product level.
● Coordinates the resolution of internal and external dependencies across value streams and shared services.
● Develops and manages detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and budgets.
● Ensures effective communication, collaboration, coordination and team engagement in initiatives that cut across portfolios and products.
● Defines project scopes, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
● Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation strategies.
● Reports on overall delivery status to program leadership and various stakeholders.
● Establishes and organizes application development plans that align with the goals and strategies.
● Understands Resource Management and the value of the resource management; may practice one or more behaviors associated with the skill.
● Applies standard techniques and tools to carry out analysis and performance monitoring activities for specified products.
● Investigates, manages, and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
● Manages vendor relationships; coordinates deliverables and milestones successfully.
● Supports business functions and outages as needed to help drive resolution of issues and outages.
● Sets clear expectations for self and others and takes appropriate actions to ensure obligations are met.
● Manages Quarterly Business Review Meetings with our vendors and business partners.
● Manages clear and specific contractual terms for required project work with suppliers.
● Manages and escalates issues and concerns related to compliance and security to appropriate stakeholders.
REQUIRED
● 8-10 years’ experience as a Delivery Manager and/or Program Manager.
● Proven track record for successful delivery of projects and working cross-functionally with business and IT.
● Ability to manage multiple concurrent complex interactions with geographically disparate teams.
● Experience managing project financials, supplier contracts and negotiations, and budgets across a program or portfolio of projects.
● Skilled in Agile/Portfolio/Project management tools, such as ServiceNow (CARTS+), Scrum Programs module, Azure Dev Ops, SmartSheet.
● Knowledge of CWT hardware, services, shipping and contracts for warehouse and depot/lab operations.
● Knowledge of Optical Single Sign On processes, queueing system, ODS website and Prescription Lens ordering, services, vendors and contracts.
● Ability to develop trust-based working relationships with key partners across IT, suppliers, and the business.
● Flexibility to manage projects using waterfall, agile or a hybrid of methodologies.
● Experience managing risks, issues, decisions across the program landscape.
● Ability to problem solve and devise workable solutions quickly.
● Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills with ability to influence and motivate team members that report to other groups in the organization.
● Experience developing project standards, creating project dashboards, and devising health metrics that provide information necessary to make project adjustments and executive level decisions.
● Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including presentation skills.
● Ability to flex to support the changing needs of the project.
● Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
● Ability to create and manage detailed project plans and report critical paths.
● Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Recommended
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant field of IT delivery management or related field.
● PMP, PgMP, Agile, CRM, SAFe RTE certifications.
● Proficient in the use of the Google products: email, spreadsheet, document, presentation.
● Azure, SQL, Jira and CRM experience.
● Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Level 1 - $85,000 - $115,000
Level 2 - $105,000 - $135,000
Level 3 - $125,000 - $155,000
Level 4 - $145,000 - $200,000
