Full Job Description

 This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical design, collaborating across departments, and seeing their work move from concept to finished product. The company prefers candidates with local ties to the area to support long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design custom and standard conveyor systems using AutoCAD and Inventor.

Support the full project lifecycle: from concept and proposal through fabrication and customer delivery.

Interface directly with clients, vendors, shop floor, and internal teams.

Assist in CNC programming of fabrication equipment using CAD data.

Maintain organized design documentation and support clerical project needs.

Contribute to product improvement, sales support materials, and custom option development.

Preferred Background:

BSME or related degree (Industrial Engineering with design experience also considered).

0-5+ years of experience in mechanical design; conveyor or OEM experience a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills - must be comfortable engaging with customers and internal teams.

Experience with AutoCAD Inventor preferred; other CAD experience acceptable if willing to learn.

Interest or experience in CNC/fabrication programming (e.g., lasers, press brakes) is a plus.

Knowledge of sheet metal, structural fabrication, welding, motors, pneumatics, and controls.
