Entry Level - Data Center Technician
Monday - Friday, Day Shift
$20 per hour, Paid Weekly!!
Are you looking for an opportunity to get your foot in the door in the Technology and Computer industry? Volt's client, a leading Fortune 500 Telephone and Technology company, is looking for multiple Data Center Technicians to assist in removing old computers and related cabling from their data center.
These positions are expected to last up to 12 months, assisting in the decommission and disassembly of computer servers. This work will be done on site at our data center in Prineville.
Responsibilities include:

- General disassembly of computer servers and server racks.
- Disconnect and remove power and ethernet cables.
- Remove and wipe hard drives
- Use of powered tools such as screw drivers or drills.
- Use of scanning and data entry equipment such as computers and RF scanners.
- Able to lift between 25 to 75 lbs. on a semi regular basis
- Ability to use power tools
- Comfortable using computers and scanning equipment.
- Able to stand and walk for most of your shift
- Able to work in a team and independently as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Previous computer assembly, or familiarity with computer parts.
