BAE Systems is looking for a mid-level Cybersecurity Analyst to join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission.

The mid-level Cybersecurity Analyst will be:

Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues.
Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
Documenting security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
Working with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing.
Fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
Recommending best practices for IT security.
Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
Must be capable of conducting analysis, confirming intrusion information and creating a forensically sound duplicate of the files.
Decrypting data and providing technical summaries and input.
Examining recovered data for relevant information and performs dynamic analysis to include timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis.
Performing real-time cyber defense handling tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

A current Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI)
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Minimum of 5 years' experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $94728 - $161038

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
