Overview
Responsible for the operational oversight and end-of-life execution of North American community relations initiatives and business events, orchestrating all corporate, field, and business unit meetings across both in-person and virtual formats. This position centralizes recognition efforts to facilitate a consistent "drum beat" of appreciation, ensuring company events are delivered with excellence to improve colleague sentiment and deliver a measurable lift to the business. By designing high-impact experiences that celebrate competitive achievements, the role reinforces a "winning performance" mindset across North America, utilizing innovative engagement tactics and immersive experiences to re-energize the colleague base and strengthen their emotional connection to the brand and company mission. Ultimately, this position elevates the visibility of traditional "Top Performer" and "Leadership" milestones by transforming them into motivational moments that inspire excellence and foster peer-to-peer appreciation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages the implementation of community efforts across North America and facilitates educational initiatives, including event logistics and the maintenance of associated digital content.
Leads the full-scale delivery of key programs, such as the Group Leadership Forum, Top Performer recognition, and field-based community service meetings.
Assists with site selection, conducts inspections, and manages contract negotiations to ensure compliance with company standards and fiscal requirements.
Collaborates with communication leads and business units to provide logistical leadership for virtual and in-person meetings, ensuring all objectives are met.
Enhances the attendee experience by deploying meeting management software and training internal partners on standardized planning protocols.
Establishes best-in-class workflows informed by qualitative and quantitative data to improve the consistency and quality of all major meetings.
Centralizes planning processes to capture cost efficiencies, improve budget tracking, and maximize the impact of event spend across the organization.
Safeguards the organization through diligent group contracting in partnership with Procurement and Legal departments.
Manages the logistical rollout of culture and recognition toolkits, ensuring resources are integrated effectively across the business.
Drives a winning culture by designing and executing high-impact experiences that celebrate competitive achievements and reinforce a "winning performance" mindset across North America.
Re-engages the workforce by developing innovative strategies specifically aimed at re-energizing the colleague base, using engagement tactics and immersive experiences to strengthen the emotional connection to the brand and company mission.
Elevates the visibility of "Top Performer" and "Leadership" milestones by transforming traditional moments into motivational experiences that inspire excellence and peer-to-peer appreciation.
Curates a consistent calendar of touchpoints that weaves the organization's core values into the everyday colleague experience, ensuring cultural norms are felt at both the corporate and field levels.
Candidate Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (hospitality, colleague engagement, marketing, or communications), OR equivalent years of experience. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of applicable professional experience for each year of college requested.
Experience
3+ years of experience planning and executing large-scale domestic, international, and virtual events (e.g., Leadership Forums, Top Performer recognition).
Proven track record in developing North American community partnership strategies, including non-profit collaboration and volunteer mobilization.
Expertise in managing program budgets, site selection, and contract negotiations in partnership with Legal and Procurement to minimize risk.
Proficient in implementing meeting management software, mobile event apps, and travel platforms to enhance the attendee experience.
Experience managing social media efforts and educational websites to drive engagement and brand consistency.
Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional leaders to align event goals with business objectives and organizational "drum beats."

Expert in designing best-in-class event processes using qualitative and quantitative data to measure success, optimize costs, and drive a consistent "drum beat" of appreciation.
Ability to take initiative and operate within highly fluid situations, anticipating issues and delivering creative solutions to rapidly changing conditions.
Strong presentation and relationship skills used to build consensus among varied stakeholders while fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all attendees.
Proven ability to facilitate team-level learning, including upskilling executive assistants and peers on modern meeting technology, toolkits, and organizational norms.
Combines high-energy organizational mastery with the discretion required to manage confidential information and complex service matters.
Travel Requirement: Ability to travel for key events and event planning (up to 20%), including international travel. A valid passport is required.

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000 / year
While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
Incumbent must be prepared to:
Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones and etc.
Performing repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers, such as typing, picking, and pinching, within your regular work environment.
Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.
Incumbent is required to have:
Near-range visual acuity for detailed tasks and ability to perform activities with precision such as analyzing data, viewing computer screens or reading extensively.
