Creative Strategist
Position Overview
A well-known entertainment/streaming client is seeking an Creative Strategist to work with the internal acquisition creative operations team. This is a 40 hour/week, 6-month contract opportunity requiring onsite work 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday) in Santa Monica.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the entertainment space and a passion for both creative and digital media, with an understanding of performance tactics and platform best practices. They will also bring a highly analytical, data-driven and flexible approach to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies and marketing plans
- Support day-to-day operations and staff management
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Monitor sales performance and provide insights for improvement
- Manage customer relations and address any inquiries or issues
- Assist in training and mentoring new employees
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
- Prepare reports on operational performance and suggest improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in media or creative management
- Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Understanding of paid media and direct response campaigns; as well as general ad operations
- Knowledge and experience with asset tagging and trafficking (i.e. via DCM)
- Experience with marketing creative production (from conception to asset production and delivery) and an understanding of how to apply data and analytics to help guide creative choices that optimize creative performance
- Experience with Airtable or other project management tools.
- Familiarity with design software (i.e. Photoshop, AfterEffects & Premiere)
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
