Corporate Vice President - Life Valuation Reporting & Data Lead (MG2)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented actuarial professional to join our team as an Actuarial Reporting & Data Lead. This role is critical in leading the validation and communication of actuarial balances, partnering with key internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to ongoing reporting modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of actuarial principles, a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, and the technical aptitude to collaborate effectively with data and technology teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the validation and reporting of actuarial balances across quarterly valuation and annual reporting cycles.
  • Serve as the primary actuarial liaison for internal and external audits including managing ad hoc data requests and reporting process walkthroughs.
  • Partner with our database administration team to ensure actuarial reporting needs are embedded in data structure design and ongoing development.
  • Support the development and deployment of tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual processes, and strengthen control frameworks.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives focused on data consolidation, governance, and reporting standardization.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or consulting.
  • FSA designation preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel with experience in SQL or data querying.
  • Familiarity with relevant US life insurance statutory financial reporting and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated success in managing audits, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization or transformation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SAS).
  • Exposure to data governance or enterprise-level data projects.
  • Familiarity with FIS Prophet actuarial software.
  • Experience automating actuarial or financial tools and reporting processes.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$110,000-$190,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
