Our leading financial asset management client is looking for a talented copy editor to join supporting their Canadian Marketing Team! The ability to read and edit French documents is a plus (but not required)!

You will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and consistency of the firm's communications, playing a vital role in upholding their reputation for excellence.
As a Copy Editor, you will collaborate with internal teams to manage projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to brand standards. Your expertise in grammar, style, and tone will be essential in refining a diverse range of print and electronic materials. You will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, contributing to the firm’s commitment to accuracy and transparency.
Responsibilities:
- Copyedit and proofread print and electronic materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style and disclosure requirements.
- Verify statistics and facts, recommending edits based on target audience and style guides.
- Update materials requiring quarterly/annual updates, ensuring accuracy across all platforms. Updates and/or identifies changes to information in materials that require quarterly/annual updates, including, but not limited to, statistical information and changes in investment and risk disclosures.
- Monitor and incorporate compliance language updates, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed of style guide changes and apply updates to maintain consistency in communications.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of copyediting experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with impeccable grammar and syntax.
- In-depth knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and style guides (Chicago and AP).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across diverse groups.
- Strong detail orientation, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of financial and investment concepts.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in financial, pharmaceutical, or medical environments.
- Experience with Workfront.
Hybrid Hours:

Onsite in the DTLA office on Tues/Wed/Thurs, then starting 9/8/25, Mon-Thurs in office.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $29.09 to $32.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
