Full Job Description
Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: Days, M-F

Summary:
Provides extensive executive-level administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Chief Ethics, Risk and Compliance Officer (CERCO). Provides administrative support to and coordinates a wide variety of functions and projects for the Ethics, Risk and Compliance (ERC) Division. Promotes compliance with established MetroHealth System (MHS) policies and procedures and monitors department-related information from MHS databases. Uses independent judgement, tact, and social sensitivity to efficiently handle communications and record keeping requirements. Maintains files/ documentation and metrics necessary to monitor the effectiveness of various ERC programs. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer services standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Meets one of the following: • Associate Degree in Business, Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or other health-care-related field and 2 years of progressive experience providing administrative support or performing duties relative to the position. • High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam and 5 years of progressive experience providing administrative support or performing duties relative to the position. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional demeanor, with ability to operate with diplomacy, tact, and empathy. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including all employees and senior leadership levels. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Ability to type at least 50 wpm. Ability to take and transcribe dictation. Self-directed with ability to accept increasing levels of responsibility. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. 3-5 years as an executive assistant reporting directly to senior management. Experience in a health care administrative setting, preferably within a Legal or Compliance Department. Ability to analyze data into meaningful insights and/or actionable items (e.g., assisting with creating action items based on MetroHealth's ethical culture data). Ability to type at least 60 wpm. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
