Overview:
Our global beauty client is looking for a Content Creator focused on creating and editing videos for social media to join the team! The Social Video Content Creator is a visual storyteller who creates professional content that is fresh, fun, and in-sync with the client's brand voice on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. The client is seeking someone that lives and breathes social video content!
The Basics:
- Offering 40 hours per week.
- This will be 18 months long with a possibility to extend.
- This is a HYBRID role at the client's Addison, TX office (4 days a week, with Fridays remote).
- A visual portfolio (either PDF or a website link) is a required of this role showcasing social media video content.
Top 3 Skills Required:
- Portfolio of social media video content completed start to finish - be able to describe your role for each project
- Experience creating content especially for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Capcut, specifically video content.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
Additional Qualifications:
- At least 1+ years' experience managing and executing video projects in an agency, in-house production department, or similar professional studio environment
- Experienced and comfortable shooting video with Canon, Black Magic (or Similar) and even on phone
- Have a solid grasp of professional cameras, framing, lighting, and green screen techniques
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative, engaging video, audio, and motion graphics for social media from start to finish efficiently and cost-effectively
- Follow provided creative briefs
- Meet with project owners to understand vision and suggest visual solutions and creative approaches to achieve it
- Collaborate on shooting and producing social media content, both in the studio and on location
- Provide production support on set, acting as a production crew specialist
- Edit videos independently using various editing platforms
- Select the best shots, edit, and finish with color correction, audio mixing, and mastering
- Continuously explore new approaches, technology, and production methods while staying ahead of social trends
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
