Code Enforcement Officer/Fire Marshal Springfield Twp, Montco, seeks a highly organized and experienced individual to fill the position of Code Enforcement Officer/Fire Marshal. Exempt position that reports directly to the Township Manager. Responsible for enforcing property maintenance, zoning and fire codes and ordinances. The employee also serves as the staff liaison to the local Environmental Advisory Commission and Emergency Services Board. Self-motivation and excellent communication skills. Candidates should have a min. of two years of education at the college level (Bachelors Preferred), 10 years of experience in active fire training and suppression, Certified Fire Investigator Certificate and NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800. Candidate shall also be required to obtain PA UCC Certification within six months of employment. Salary based on experience/qualifications. Excellent benefits package.
