Volt is immediately hiring for Coating Operator I in Austin, TX.

Schedule 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM

As a Coating Operator I, you will:

Operate parylene deposition systems to coat customer-supplied parts according to specifications.
Prepare parts for processing, including unpacking, cleaning, promoting, masking, fixturing, and packing.
Load machines, monitor equipment during runs, and verify coating thickness using measurement tools.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on parylene deposition systems and related equipment (e.g., vacuum ovens, plasma etchers).
Maintain records and documentation for equipment maintenance, coatings, and QC testing.
Operate and maintain various machines used in the promotion and deposition process.
Assemble fixtures and handle parts for the coating process.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including possible FAA/DOT testing.

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or GED.
Proven mechanical ability and/or previous machine operator experience.
Ability to read, follow instructions, and use measurement tools.
High manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination.
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is a plus.
Knowledge of Parylene and Chemistry is helpful, but not required.

Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
