Job Title & Role Description:
The Cloud Engineer will play a critical role in developing and maintaining Upward Health's cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Azure engineering. The role will involve designing, building, and optimizing ETL pipelines, data transformation workflows, and ensuring efficient data integration across the organization. This individual will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure that data flows seamlessly across systems, while providing support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure the integrity and performance of cloud-based applications and processes.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, particularly in Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps.
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes.
- Advanced SQL skills, with data modeling experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.
- Experience with Azure Storage, Azure Function Apps, and virtual hardware management is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues and data processing problems.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with strong organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Demonstrated success in a cloud engineering role with a focus on Azure services and ETL processes.
- Previous experience in healthcare or technology-driven environments is advantageous.
