You will play a vital role in protecting public health and the environment through advanced laboratory testing and chemical analysis related to water and wastewater systems.
In this key role, you will:

• Conduct laboratory procedures, perform chemical analyses, and interpret results to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Operate and maintain advanced laboratory instrumentation including Ion Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, and Spectrophotometers.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment, manage lab inventory, and contribute to the development of testing protocols.
• Work both independently and collaboratively, offering guidance to assistants while ensuring high safety and quality standards.
• Utilize software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access to document results and manage lab data.
• Apply your knowledge of chemical principles and laboratory techniques in real-world environmental testing.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow guidelines while adapting to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with water and wastewater testing protocols and the ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, operating valves, and working around lab equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships within and outside the organization.
• Commitment to accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement in a regulated laboratory environment.
