Automotive Mechanic/Diesel TechnicianRequirements:
- Valid certification as an Automotive Diesel Technician (e.g., ASE certification)
- Able to diagnose and repair diesel engine systems using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Team player/guide Jr. Technicians or apprentices as needed
- Estimates cost of repairs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with diesel engines and systems.
- 5 years of experience working at a dealership
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in diesel engine repair and diagnostics
- Strong understanding of diesel engine components and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with electronic engine management systems.
- Skilled in performing routine maintenance and comprehensive repairs on diesel vehicles.
- Great organizational skills and able to maintain repair records
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in an automotive repair environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy parts and equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
