CAD Drafter will use computer aided design systems to create drawings for product creation, filling design drawings with codes and specifications for the design.  Drafter must be able to take directions and use them to deliver a high-quality design.  Drafter must be precise, have great verbal skills, be able to handle stress, be creative, be organized, and able to meet deadlines.   

Experience Required:

• Must have sheet metal component detailing background AutoCAD or SolidWorks 

Education Requirements:

• Vocational Training or Associates Degree or Job Experience (3-5 years)

Responsibilities:

• Programming CNC laser parts from DXF/DWG files (will train)
• Research and obtain standards and codes required by client to develop plans
• Review engineering drawings prior to release
• Develop accurate layouts, flats and assembly drawings and details
• Take direction from engineers and executives to research drawings, catalogs, and sketches to develop detaileddimensioned CAD drawings
