The Position on our Team:
The CAD Associate is responsible for creating tenant layout drawings and lease plans using AutoCAD for your assigned properties. You will collaborate with Sr. Management to prepare site plans and drawings for various projects, including new developments, redevelopments of existing properties, and repurposing of anchor spaces and mixed-use projects.

In this role you will:
- Collaborate with the Leasing team to create tenant space layout drawings.
- Work with various departments to ensure the accuracy and completion of work products.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of global CAD procedures and standards to produce detailed design and space layouts.
- Manage and expedite Yardi activities for assigned properties.
- Support Senior CAD on development projects.
- Interpret and understand project construction drawings.
- Coordinate with the Tenant Coordinator to obtain field verifications for space layouts.
- Maintain and update the property square footage database.
- Develop and revise property site and lease plans.
- Create teaser and lease outline drawings.
- Produce and update lease exhibits.
- Understand local and national building, fire, and ADA codes.
- Update and maintain ePlans (Electronic Lease and Site Plan).
- Provide in-house plotting services.
- Perform other duties as assigned
This is an entry-level role. Recent trade school or college graduates are encouraged to apply. The hourly rate for this position may be between $23 - $25 per hour.

What you bring:
- Associate degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field, with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Strong computer skills, along with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Preferred, but not required: Architectural design skills and knowledge.
