The Brigham Young University (BYU) Department of Psychology invites applicants of any academic rank to fill four full-time (continuing faculty status) professorial-track positions to begin Fall Semester 2026. We specifically seek applicants in Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Social/Health Psychology. Well-qualified candidates will demonstrate strong research skills, a well-defined research agenda, and an established record of peer-reviewed publications and scholarly productivity that includes student mentoring. A PhD in psychology or a related field must be completed by the job start date. Successful candidates will also show commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring, including the ability to teach upper- and lower-level undergraduate and graduate classes. They will also be prepared to engage in citizenship responsibilities in the department, college, and university. Preference is given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of the affiliated church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrine of the affiliated church.
