Full Job Description
Title: Billing Analyst / Coordinator
Pay: $15-22.67/hr
Location: 106 E 2ND ST Davenport, IA 52801
Hours 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with hour lunch
We currently have 7 positions open and there are 20 more positions that will be opened up by the next month.
Ideal candidate:
Recent college grad in Accounting or Finance. Does not need to have experience. Will be trained. Trained in the customer information system they are using. They will start working on easier tasks and move to difficult ones.
Key Responsibilities-
Investigate and resolve billing errors utilizing the customer information system (CSS).
Process billing corrections and adjustments in compliance with company procedures and audit standards.
Interpret and apply utility tariffs, billing policies, and regulatory practices.
Research client billing issues as directed.
Maintain detailed records of billing activities using Excel spreadsheets.
Contribute to process documentation and suggest updates to billing procedures for operational efficiency.
Support various ad-hoc billing projects as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
Proficient with the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
