Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Associate, C# / .NET Dev in Jersey City, NJ

Design and develop software methodologies for computing Client Portfolio Volatility during intra-day trade and post-trade. Identify and develop software solutions to compute Benchmark Volatility, Historical and Hypothetical volatility used by internal Morgan Stanley applications and Financial Advisors. Ensure software stability and quality assurance of Portfolio Risk platform through test automation while introducing new functionalities. Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve technical dependencies and provide customized solutions for better visibility on client’s portfolio risk. Identify new avenues for identification of business opportunities to ensure best in class product. Design and develop FA tools and application for account inception and maintenance into advisory by offering various fee based products, investment strategies, risk tolerance, KYC profiling, and Tax mandates. Develop tools for External manager integration such as parametric for indexed based strategies/funds. Provide proactive real time support to end users in case of production issues. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Salary: Salary range for the position: 165,000 - $165,000 /Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Manager, Associate, or a closely related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: full stack development; C#, ASP.Net MVC, WCF, Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka MSMQ; front end technologies including Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and Bootstrap; database development using MS SQL Server, and DB2; tools including Github, Stash, Teamcity, Windeploy, Putty, Jira, VS Code, Visual Studio, Fiddler, Splunk, and Swagger. Requires four (4) years of experience with: Dotnet Core, and Cloud Computing; React, and Stencil; MySQL; Azure, Cloudify, Grafana, and Storybook.
