THE ROLE:
As Assistant Front Office Manager at Park Hyatt Chicago, you will serve as a vital leader in ensuring the flawless execution of our guest arrival and departure experiences. Supporting the Front Office leadership team, you will oversee a dynamic team of Bell & Door Attendants, Front Office Hosts, Communication Center Agents, and Concierge—all unified in their dedication to thoughtful, personalized service.
This role requires poise, precision, and a proactive spirit. You will manage day-to-day operations with a focus on Forbes-level service standards, ensuring every guest interaction reflects Park Hyatt’s legacy of excellence. Whether coordinating VIP arrivals, resolving service recovery needs, or optimizing front desk workflows, your leadership will help create a guest journey that feels seamless, intuitive, and exceptional.
You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing front-of-house talent, fostering a culture of learning, empathy, and high-touch hospitality.

SALARY INFORMATION:
The salary for this position ranges from $51,600 to $61,800 annually. This range reflects the competitive compensation expected at Park Hyatt Chicago. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3 years of progressive experience in a supervisory or managerial role in Front Office or Rooms Division operations, preferably in a luxury or Forbes-rated environment
- Education: Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management or CMT Program completion preferred
- Service Philosophy: A warm, authentic approach to guest service, grounded in emotional intelligence and discretion
- Luxury Acumen: In-depth understanding of luxury service delivery, brand standards, and Forbes Travel Guide expectations
- Leadership Presence: Engaging, approachable, and confident leader who leads by example and inspires excellence
- Communication: Refined communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex guest interactions and lead team briefings effectively
- Tech Fluency: Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar property management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital concierge tools
- Problem Solving: Solutions-focused mindset with the ability to remain composed and resourceful under pressure
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
