Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is excited to recruit for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities will include scheduling, forecasting, training, coaching and mentoring colleagues. Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, as well as all operating procedures. Resolve guest and customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality. This will include responding to online feedback by guests and customers alike. Role will coordinate special events at the hotel. Collaborate directly with the guest services team in ensuring daily delivery of the hotel’s amenity program. Work directly with the Operations Team to ensure the Food and Beverage offerings are being held to the highest standards, implement new initiatives to drive revenue and guest satisfaction. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food & Beverage cost control experience is helpful. We are looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager with strong support and care for our colleagues, as well as an excellent presence for our guests.
This role will primarily be focused on our award-winning, breakfast-only restaurant Eques, as well as the In Room Dining service that we provide for hotel guests.
This is position has a salary compensation ranging from $78,000 - $81,000. The final offer will be based on experience.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 2+ years as F&B supervisor/manager preferred
- Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
- Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
- Open availability to include mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous customer service experience preferred
