Volt is immediately hiring Assembly A (Tube Assembly 1A) in (Tempe, AZ)

As a Tube Assembly operators you will be:

Responsible to perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain
production schedules.

Essential Responsibilities:

Ability to wear required PPE to fulfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses
Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using
detailed documented procedures.
Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.
Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products.
Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish
department goals.
Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility
Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, ema
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.

Basic Qualification

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.

Preferred Qualification

Good hand/eye coordination
Ability to sit for long periods of time
High level of attention to detail
Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as required
Work 12-hour, compressed work week schedule with flexibility to work overtime as needed

This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.

Pay Range : $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.
