As a Teardown and Crating Assembler at EMT International, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our finished machinery is safely disassembled, securely packaged, and shipped in excellent condition. Your work directly impacts our customers' satisfaction by delivering a complete and high-quality "out-of-box experience."
Teardown and Crating Assembler Essential Functions:
- Disassemble electrical and mechanical components to teardown machines using hand, power, and air tools.
- Prepare machinery for shipment using skids, crates, and vacuum-sealed bags.
- Load and unload trucks with a forklift.
- Inspect and verify outgoing shipments for quality and completeness.
- Support various facility improvement tasks such as cleaning, organizing, minor carpentry, and painting.
Teardown and Crating Assembler Qualifications:
- No specific experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with a variety of tools.
- Basic computer and tablet skills; Microsoft Office experience.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
