Volt is immediately hiring an Assembler in Foxboro, Massachusetts 02035

As an Assembler, you will be.

Electrical Wiring Associate, Wiring Associate, Electrical Panel Associate
Electrical and Wiring Assembler responsible for the assembly of electrical panels and cabinets
Assemble and wire electrical panels and cabinets using a variety of hand and/or power tools and crimping of small gauge wires.
Performs electrical wiring assembly on medium to large sized parts or panels.
Read and review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Responsible for ensuring that work order protocols are followed, and that work order paperwork is completed as the work is performed.
Follow 5S and Schneider Performance System (Continuous Improvement) principles and practices
Embrace and be a part of a team focused on safety, quality, customers, and productivity.
Collaborate with Engineering on poke yoke, continuous improvement, process, training, and other measures within the group.

Key skills:

High School Diploma/GED required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, wiring/block diagrams.
Experience with basic hand tools, air tools, gages, torque wrenches and mechanical assemblies.
Communicate, write, and speak effectively in English
Previous Assembly/Manufacturing experience preferred

Location: Foxboro, Massachusetts 02035
Duration: 12 Months contract
Pay: $20 - $22/hr.

Shift Timing: Monday - Thursday - 10/hr. days with option to start at 5:30, 6, 6:30am
