Job Description:
Apex Systems, one of Americas Largest Staffing Firms, is looking for a
Application Systems Analyst
to join their team with a client in the Greensboro, NC area.
Position: Application Systems Analyst/Support
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Onsite in Greensboro, NC
Terms: Long Term Contract (Full time hours)
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Systems Analyst to join a dynamic and collaborative team supporting mission-critical applications in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enhancing system performance, and serving as a key liaison between technical teams and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide expert-level support for enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
· Collaborate closely with business users to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective solutions that align with operational goals.
· Act as the bridge between first-line support and advanced technical teams, facilitating smooth issue escalation and resolution.
· Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user guides, process flows, field definitions, and training materials.
· Track and document system changes, updates, and enhancements to ensure transparency and continuity across teams.
· Analyze recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance system functionality and user experience.
· Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of application updates and new features.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in application support, systems analysis, or a related IT role.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
· Experience working in a multi-tiered support environment.
· Familiarity with documentation best practices and change management processes.
