We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AI Consultant to lead the development of prompts and optimization/training of our client's proprietary AI tool for their copy and design team. This role will be central to shaping how the AI tool understands and responds to user input, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and adaptability across use cases.
As the AI Consultant, you will partner with an AI task force to co-own the end-to-end lifecycle of prompt engineering, AI training, and performance monitoring. You'll work closely with cross-functional writing and design teams to refine prompts, curate training data, validate outputs, and ensure the AI system is continuously learning and improving.
A laptop may be provided and there are 180 hours total allocated to this work.
AI Consultant Key Responsibilities
- Lead Prompt Engineering: Design, test, and optimize prompts to ensure the AI tool delivers accurate, relevant, and context-aware responses, ending in a prompt library for the team to use for Design and Copy efforts.
- AI Training & Data Curation: Curate high-quality training datasets and fine-tune the AI model to improve performance across domains.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor AI outputs, identify performance gaps, and implement improvements based on user feedback and testing.
- Prompt Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test cases to confirm prompt effectiveness and iterate based on outcomes.
- Model Behavior Analysis: Analyze AI behavior to ensure alignment with business goals, ethical standards, and user expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with designers, writers and a task force align AI capabilities with product strategy and user needs.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of prompt iterations, training processes, and performance metrics.
AI Consultant Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in AI
- Proven experience with prompt engineering frameworks and training large language models.
- Strong understanding of AI model behavior, data annotation, and evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with various design and copy AI tools and platforms.
- Proven experience training and developing AI tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
AI Consultant Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with proprietary or domain-specific AI tools.
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices and bias mitigation.
