ELLOREE WATER SYSTEMS HAS TWO JOB OPENINGS Administrative and Financial Coordinator Full Time Field Technician Administrative and Financial Coordinator: Under minimal supervision, the Administrative and Financial Coordinator performs professional administrative and financial tasks to support the efficient operation of the Elloree Water System. This role encompasses accounting, budgeting, human resources, and occasional customer service duties, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Essential Duties Financial Management: Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, biweekly payroll, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reports. Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, develop financial plans, and present reports to the Commissioners. Grant Management: Assist with grant applications, compliance, and reporting. Meeting Support: Prepare agendas and reports for monthly Commissioner meetings, record and transcribe meeting minutes, and ensure timely distribution. Human Resources: Manage employee onboarding, including insurance and retirement enrollment. Maintain employee records, address personnel issues, and escalate concerns to Commissioners as needed. Customer Service: Serve as backup for customer service, answering phones, processing payments, and addressing inquiries. Professional Development: Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on industry trends and technologies. Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and standard office equipment (computers, copiers, calculators). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, customers, and contractors. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Knowledge of payroll, tax reporting, and human resources processes preferred. FULL-TIME FIELD TECHNICIAN Elloree Water System is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Field Technician. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Valid South Carolina Drivers License ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform manual labor, including repairs to water and sewer lines Complete work orders and other assigned duties Read water meters accurately and efficiently Disconnect and restore water meters as needed Replace and install water meters Operate machinery and equipment, including department vehicles, utility carts, jet vacs, backhoes, and various tools Maintain grounds by cutting grass using riding lawnmowers and weed eaters Conduct morning and afternoon inspections of lift stations and check for leaks along roadways Fill in holes and perform road repairs as required BENEFITS: South Carolina State Retirement System Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance
