Job Description:
Seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join a growing company in New York City.

Job Purpose/Overview
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational activities of the accounts receivable department. This role is responsible for creating and distributing invoices to customers, recording, verifying, and posting payments received by the organization, and ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with internal accounting policies. The coordinator also maintains and reconciles the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments, responds to customer inquiries, and assists with the research of any discrepancies regarding bills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Create and distribute invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Record, verify, and post payments received by the organization, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Maintain and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments and assist with the research and resolution of any discrepancies.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare and provide regular reports on accounts receivable status and activities to management.
• Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient accounts receivable processes.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Education & Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with HighRadius, SAP or similar system required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
