Job Summary
E Source is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the core accounting operations, support the monthly close process, drive process improvement and automation, and own the accounting system. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment. The Accounting Manager will roll up their sleeves and engage directly in daily accounting tasks when needed, while also serving as a key partner in building a scalable and efficient accounting infrastructure.

How you'll help
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering accountability and professional growth
- Own and manage the company’s accounting system (NetSuite), including configuration, optimization, reporting, and integrations
- Support the Assistant Controller in ensuring an accurate and timely month-, quarter-, and year-end close, including preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations
- Identify and implement process improvements in partnership with the Assistant Controller, with a focus on scalability, automation, and efficiency
- Lead initiatives to automate accounting workflows and reduce manual processes through ERP enhancements, system integrations, and tools like Excel macros or automation platforms (e.g., RPA)
- Serve as a key contact for external auditors and assist with audit preparation and related deliverables
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and systems teams to align accounting processes with broader business objectives
- Support integration efforts related to acquisitions, new systems, or entity onboarding
What will make you a great fit
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Demonstrated experience leading process improvements and driving accounting automation
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities

The budgeted salary for this position is:
$110,000 - $120,000 USD + annual bonus up to 10%.
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
This role will be 100% remote
